MAISON&OBJET introduces Comfort Zone

The theme for this year's renowned Maison&Objet fair, Comfort Zone will be taking to the streets of Paris from 8 to 12 September 2017.

A study carried out by the Maison&Objet Observatoire shows that well-being and the need for comfort are increasingly important factors: customers crave cosying up in comfortable, feel-good spaces that enhance peace of mind and keep discomfort at bay. Founded in 2002, the Maison&Objet Observatoire tracks emerging lifestyle trends and presents them as specific themes each year.

As a result, expect sofas that are softer and more ample than ever, marshmallowy armchairs to sink into, and sumptuous, thick carpeting luring you in to kick back and relax.

From hammocks and furniture to textile flooring, a host of different showrooms will be opening their doors to the public during the Comfort Zone event.

Balsan will be showcasing three different products:

  • its high-quality Bolero Sonic Confort carpet tiling that absorbs impact noise reaching 36 decibels and reduces noise pollution;
  • its high-quality Sublime broadloom, inspired by cosmetics, featuring solution-dyed yarn and 1,430 grams of velvet per square metre to enchant you time and again;
  • its new high-quality Sweet Dreams broadloom, available in 24 colours and boasting a unique, delicate texture to suit even the most sensitive of feet.

Drop into the Balsan showroom at 99, Rue de la Verrerie in Paris's 4th arrondissement, and sample plush, designer carpeting providing a level of comfort that is both a visual and sensory treat!
