Context:

• The building brings together BOUYGUES TELECOM's network teams. Total surface area of the site: 35 000 m² over 7 floors,
• Architectural design that is daring yet well thought-out so as to integrate as much as possible with the site. The W-shaped layout that enters the forest marks a very strong link with the environment and green space. Furthermore, the building is THQE certified (Very High Environmental Quality),
• In addition to the architectural scale of the building, the Technopole is unique due to the technology that is part of the 3600 workspaces that promote a friendly atmosphere, communication and well-being.

Balsan recommend's:

• For passageways and office areas, a durable carpeting solution that is comfortable to walk on,
• Work on the quantities of the retained Pilote carpet tiles. The carpet tiling was over-weighted by 50gr/m² so as to offer a product with a pile weight of 630gr/m² as requested in the project description. And so the TECHNOPOLE carpet tile was born!
• Very low wastage
• Choice of a durable, economic product with a dark yet light colour contrasting with the furniture colour scheme,
• Using carpet provides a pleasant acoustic environment by absorbing air-borne sounds that are reflected off the flat and smooth surfaces found in large spaces such as these,
• Adherence to the timescale and supply requirements even with the requested technical adjustment of the carpet tiling.
