Elsa Pochat presents Terres Fertiles

For this latest edition of Paris Design Week, Elsa Pochat has created TERRES FERTILES, a celebration of the nourishing earth that we cultivate and that gives us life. Highlighting the human footprint, the plots and furrows, she draws a parallel with the effects of global warming.

The pattern in the showroom represents the furrows in the earth cultivated by man. The plots are juxtaposed in warm tones that recall the colour of wheat and the pigments in the earth.  A central shape adds a new scale. It represents the water that overflows and seeks its way through these crops.

Elsa Pochat is passionate about the reuse of materials and manufacturing processes, and her scenography is a response to global warming. She emphasises short circuits, craftsmanship and innovation as vectors for change. In her scenography, the designer presents several projects, 3 of which are the result of collaborations.
