Office: what are the different ways of laying my carpet?
That depends on the recommendations made in your carpet's technical sheet.
Let's lay some carpetĀ !
Monolithic, Quarter-Turn, Non-Directional, etc. There are many different styles to choose from, offering numerous layouts for your office flooring. According to the chosen product, read through its technical sheet to know which laying techniques are best-suited (quarter-turn, monolithic, non-directional, ashlar or brick). All of these layout possibilities are not necessarily accessible for all carpet types (patterned, structured, etc.).
For optimal results in your office, you must follow the pile direction of your carpet, indicated by arrows on the back of the tiles.
Recommendations for laying carpet tiles
Good carpet layout means good visual appreciation for the entire room. You therefore need to ensure the right balance at both ends of the room that needs carpeting. Offices are not always rectangular and sometimes have partitions - which means it is best to call upon a professional carpet-layer.
The latter will be aware of the procedure to be followed: cutting the tiles around the perimeter of the room, tracing a guideline, etc. This will save you a great deal of trouble.
