Context:

• Office tenants: Optimodal, international expert in multi-modal container transport operations,
• Total surface area of site: 4 500 m² of the total building, offices as shown in the pictures: 750 m²,
• Looking for strong and flexible products like those offered by the Balsan range of dyed tiles,
• Client asked for a floor plan that really reflected their image as a company, that is to say a transport company operating mainly via railway, lorry or boat.

Balsan recommend's:

• A textile carpet solution resistant to wear and comfortable underfoot,
• Task was to reflect the company image on the floor,
• Instead of a printed carpet, we offered, together with the design company Tetrix, a creative and bespoke solution in tiles,
• Minimum loss of carpet thickness and an elasticity in the carpet to resist the various comings and goings of people in the building,
