Balsan partners with interior designer Angélique Pursad to renovate the Rockfon showroom “Le 111” and the Rockwool collective spaces in Paris. A project that reimagines the workspace as a place for living and exchange, centered on the employee experience.
The architect’s approach is rooted in a human-centered design, creating unique spaces focused on well-being at work and accessibility for all. Shaped by needs, emotions, and personalities rather than trends, the spaces are built around a storytelling approach, blending imagination, memories, and poetry to reflect the company’s values.
Inclusion is at the heart of the project, integrated from the earliest stages.
Every detail ensures accessibility, equity, and comfort for all, creating spaces where everyone belongs.
The Rockfon showroom draws inspiration from Hawaiian mythology, staging the opposition of fire and water. This duality rebalances an initially masculine universe through color, contrasts, and an inclusive approach, bringing emotion and harmony.
For the Rockwool offices, the project is inspired by a poetic narrative around transformation and materiality, where imagination and emotion shape the experience. Carefully designed spaces, filled with surprises, make each moment memorable and actively engage employees, with a strong increase in the use of small meeting rooms since renovation.
In this context, Balsan was a natural choice, sharing values of aesthetics, comfort, and technical performance.
