The watercolour pattern of Encre is printed onto the base of Sierra, a structured broadloom carpet from the Territoires collection to bring out the relief in the design. Sierra, a custom carpet, is a tufted product (a mix of shiny and matt thread) with irregular structures inspired by the random formations of mountain chains. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but the designer carpet Sierra is also crafted from high-quality 100% polyamide fibres (with a pile weight of 1240 g/m²) for added comfort and improved acoustical performance.
